Alison's first ewes came from the Dick Person's Ramblin Vewe flock in New Hampshire. We added ewes from the Skartvedt, Van Arkel, and Bierle flocks over the last four years. Keith McConnell from western Pennsylvania sold us the last of his brood ewes and several yearlings before he retired from the Suffolk business in 2003. These impressive females are some of the tallest, longest ewes we have seen and are transmitting that size and scale to their lambs. We continue to selectively add ewes to the brood flock that have the depth of pedigree, genetics, and conformation that will improve our genetic base. Most recently, we purchased two Sequoia daughters from Paasch's out of two of their top producing ewes.
